Corona Pandemic Self-Isolation: Virtual Singing Lessons Worldwide

If you are cooped up at home in self-isolation due to the corona virus outbreak around the world and you’re running out of ideas for keeping yourself occupied, then you will find that you can perhaps spend a bit of that spare time learning to sing with an online voice coach on Skype.

This article will aim to open up an idea for an extracurricular activity you may want to consider for keeping yourself occupied AND entertained during the dreaded COVID19 pandemic that has spread across the planet and brought about an all new social distancing phenomenon.

So, assuming you want to learn to sing, and given the current situation with economies around the globe, the first thing you’ll want to consider is the cost associated with hiring a voice coach.

How much is this going to cost?

It's far less than you'd expect.

To get an idea of the quality of service to be expected on this platform and the incredibly affordable rate this service is offered to you, please check out the embedded video clip below.

I’ve written a couple of articles on this topic before. This is how you can get stuck right in to find out a bit more about my Personalized Vocal Coaching on Skype for Europe and North America; and you can also pick-up information on How to Set-up for Voice Lessons with a Coach on Skype.

Diary of a Voice Coach, a Quick Reflection on Previous Articles

unsplash-logoNick Morrison
I haven’t blogged in a while and I myself cannot believe it’s been this long, crazy how time flies.

I suppose I needed the break too. I must’ve gotten tired writing, I’ve been doing this for so many years.

I remember the time when I had a weekly newspaper column and deadlines to meet. Well, the good thing about that is I was finally able to write enough content to publish my book 101 Letters from a Vocal Coach.

Back in October last year I blogged about a crowd-funding event I’d started up on Fundly. There’s been no activity whatsoever and I haven’t raised a dime thus far. Maybe I need to get stuck back in with promoting that. Who knows what’ll come out of this, but it would be nice if people joined me to promote the link. It is the only way I can raise funds to help others. I cannot do it on my own. I simply don’t have the resources.

Voice coaching online via Skype is something I’ve been putting in a bit of time with of late, and I’ve been gradually refining the service. I like the look of it now, far better. Just a couple of days ago I updated my Skype blog post, where you’ll find that I’ve added a bit more detail on how best to set-up for voice lessons via Skype.

My 12-minute vocal warm-up, which links back to Tumblr where I have embedded mp3, has had a few more files added to it for the Swahili speaking crowd. I might republish this content in English.

I hope you've enjoyed my first article of 2020. Stay well and talk to you soon.
